Hidden Nest

Last year a robin decided to build her nest in the old tire rim we use to wrap our garden hose around. She had three batches of baby robins in that nest. Now I wonder if she came back again as yet again there is a nest there. The first batch of baby robins have hatched and flew the coop. Will there be more?

I guess she felt that it was a really safe place and she always kept an eye out to make sure we didn’t interfere with her eggs and babies. We destroyed the nest a couple of times before there was eggs, but she always rebuilt it. Once there were eggs and babies we would leave it alone and let mama Robin be (accept when we needed to use the hose).
