Yesterday saw some nasty thunderstorms rip through the area bringing a cold front in. Today started with a trip to the farmers market for fresh veggies and yummy Amish baked goods. On the way back home, I caught a beautiful morning sky. No sunrise, just the softness of the morning.

What’s Outside Your Window? Part 1: The Sky
I’ve been wanting to try doing an image where I put a window frame and then several of my sky pictures. This is the result of trial run #1. I kind of like it. These really were all taken from the various views outside from my house. The first shot is a January (11) sunset from 2012. The second shot is and April (19) sunrise from 2011. The third shot was taken at dusk when the moon was up in July (6, 2011). The Final shot is late afternoon in October (14, 2012). What’s outside of your window?

It was such a beautiful and serene sky. I think this was before the clouds rolled in and covered the sunshine for the day.

I do have my own sky pictures to post, I just need to download them onto my computer, but I’ve been equal parts busy and lazy. I really loved this morning sky and sunset sky somewhere in South Korea. I’m not sure if this was actually at the island they were talking about in the drama Crazy Love, so I won’t hazard a guess as to the real location. I just think it is pretty. Don’t you?

Morning Sky on May 20, 2013
Well, my birthday dawned with a pretty sky in the morning, but it was soon covered by gray clouds and by that night the wind was howling, dust clouds were blowing across the fields and we had some nice downpours. This followed by three more days of rain, rain, and more rain. Let’s not forget like a 30-40 degree temperature drop, either.

I’m actually not posting a sunrise or sunset picture for once. This sky just had a very ethereal quality for me with the wispy clouds above the trees, so I couldn’t resists snapping a few photos of it.
